I enjoyed connecting with my fellow bead makers, at the show. I am retiring from the BBS, too much work not enough returns to warrant doing it again. Next year I will just go to buy, and perhaps George will join me again.
I had a fabulous time riding on the back of a Harley with George, saw some incredible sights in Arizona. Made new friends in Vail Az, thank you John & Adrienne for a inviting us into your lovely home.
George was so helpfull built me a light stand and installed it. We won't mention the 2000 dropped beads, he is really good at sorting and picking up.
Bronwen had a great booth and she taught a workshop too...It was a blast hanging with her, I hope to get her over to the Oregon coast for a workshop.....mmmm

Heartglass Designs, a little bead shop run by the talented Susan P Hanson. Her sign says simply "Glass Beads", but once you are inside, you know that this is NOT your average bead shop.

OK on the sillier side here is a very cool photo, you gotta wonder if its for real ....
Another of my favorites to make gold fumed coils made from boro glass, which is quite trick as I like to make them on 1/16 mandrels, its a bit of a balancing act to not melt through the thin rod due to the hight heat required when working boro.

Below are my special furry kids ...unfortunately they get old before us ... Cuddles passed away in December she was 14 years old & cherished by her human family ...We all miss her...
Right is Bella my girlfriend's Bichon a very sweet loving pet only 7 years old and went completely blind while we were out of town for 2 weeks in November 06..She was also in terrible back & hip pain the Vet could only give her pain pills, we did not know what to do she was suffering . So I took her to my Chiropractor he adjusted her, it was a miracle no more pain ...I wanted to share this to every one because we almost put her down Chiropractors are amazing ...Thank you DR Phil
Baby the small Yorkie
July 06 she was attacked by a raccoon who almost killed her. Covered in stitches she was back to her old feisty self with in 2 days ....My miracle child...I must give big hugs to Bella who alerted us to her plight and saved her life.
Weds Aug 12th 09 our bichon Bella passed away from kidney failure , she is greatly missed. Only 10 a life too short yet left a huge imprint on our lives, so much unconditional love. Blessed be Bella run with the angels.
